Every day the transportation system is abused to facilitate human trafficking. This hackathon is aimed at taking back our transportation system. Use your knowledge of transportation planning, experience in social issues, technology skills, or other abilities to develop a tool that could be used to identify potential cases of human trafficking.
The day of the event, you will have access to experts in human trafficking, transportation, and technology to help you fine-tune your ideas. Experts include representatives from StreetLight and UrbanLogiq who will be on-site serving as technology advisers.
Group Registration – If you are registering as a team, select the “Group” option when purchasing a ticket. If purchasing tickets separately, the first person to register will create a group name and password. Remaining members can use that information to join the team.
For more details, the schedule, and rules please see this Rules document saved here:
Additional information including relevant research, potential data sources, and instructions on how to access StreetLight Data’s platform will be sent out to registered participants.
