About this Event

As the global community continues to navigate this difficult time throughout the fight against the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, ECPAT Child ALERT is committed to maintaining our education and awareness raising efforts on issues relating to the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC).

Building off of our previous “101” workshops, we have provided a focused online workshop series covering various topics including: An Introduction to CSEC, What is Human Trafficking? CSEC in the NZ Context, International Trafficking versus Domestic Trafficking, Forced Labour, Sex Trafficking, Survival Sex, Online Sexual Abuse Imagery, Forced Marriage, CSEC and COVID-19, Looking at Risk Factors, Traffickers and Recruitment, Sex Work versus Sexual Exploitation, Responding to CSEC, and the Effects of CSEC.

Our next workshop will focus on Sex Trafficking and Survival Sex.
